(Muhammad), have you ever seen the one who has turned away (from guidance), 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Is with him the knowledge of the unseen so that he sees? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 And that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives 39 and that (the result of) his striving shall soon be seen, 40 Then will he be rewarded with a reward complete; 41 And that unto thy Lord is the goal. 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 and that it is He who creates the two kinds - the male and the female 45 from an ejected drop of sperm; 46 and that it is for Him to grant the second life, 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 And before them, the people of Noah, for that they were (all) most unjust and most insolent transgressors, 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Concerning which then, of the bounties of thy Lord, canst thou dispute? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Will you, then, wonder at this? 59 Will you laugh at it rather than weep? 60 while you make merry? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
