Observedest thou him who turned away? 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Or is he not informed with what is in the Pages (Scripture) of Musa (Moses), 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 That it is He who makes you happy and morose, 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth; 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 And that He (Allah) is the Lord of Sirius (the star which the pagan Arabs used to worship); 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 Thamud, 51 and that He it is Who destroyed the people of Noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression. 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 So which then of your Lord's favors do you dispute? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 No (soul) but Allah can lay it bare. 58 Do you then marvel at this discourse, 59 and do they laugh instead of weeping, 60 While ye amuse yourselves? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Stars (Al-Najm). Sent down in Mecca after Absoluteness (Al-Ikhlaas) before He Frowned ('Abasa)
