Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 The Last shall be better for you than the First. 4 Thy Lord shall give thee, and thou shalt be satisfied. 5 Did He not find you orphaned and shelter you? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 And did He not find you in want, and then enriched you? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 And do not rebuke the beggar. 10 And as for the favor of your Lord, do announce (it). 11
Almighty God's Truth.
