▼ 79 The Snatchers
Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 As convenience for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great predominating calamity comes; 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 Hell fire will become visible for those who would see it. 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They ask you about the hour, when it will come. 42 You have no knowledge to say anything about it, 43 Unto thy Lord belongeth (knowledge of) the term thereof. 44 You are only a warner to him who has a fear of it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
