Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

By oath of the late morning, 1 And by the night when it is stillest, 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 What is to come is better for you than what has gone before; 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found you lost and guided [you], 7 And find you in want and make you to be free from want? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
