In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Read! In the name of your Lord, who created: 1 created man from a clot [of blood]. 2 Read: And thy Lord is the Most Bounteous, 3 who, by the pen, taught the human being: 4 Teacheth man that which he knew not. 5 Nay! man is most surely inordinate, 6 Because he sees himself self-sufficient. 7 Surely to your Lord is the return. 8 Did you see him who forbids 9 a servant when he prays -- 10 Have you seen if he was upon guidance 11 or is concerned with God-consciousness? 12 What will happen if the prohibiting rejects the Truth and turns away from it!? 13 Knoweth he not that Allah beholdeth? 14 Nay, but if he cease not We will seize him by the forelock - 15 A lying, sinning forelock. 16 So let him call his associates, 17 We too shall summon the guards of Hell. 18 By no means! Obey not thou him. Continue to adore, and continue to draw nigh. ۩ 19
