Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 Then those that make raids at morn, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
