Blessed is He who, if He please, can give you better things than that; gardens watered by flowing streams, and palaces too. 10 No, they belied the Hour. We have prepared for him who belied the Hour a Blaze. 11 When (Hell) appears to them from a distance they will hear it raging and roaring. 12 And when they are flung into a narrow place thereof, chained together, they pray for destruction there. 13 "Do not ask for one death but many deaths on this day." 14 Say, "Which is better, this or the Paradise of immortality which the righteous have been promised? It is their recompense and their destination." 15 Therein they shall have what they will dwelling forever; it is a promise binding upon thy Lord, and of Him to be required. 16 The day He will gather them together along with those they worshipped other than God, He will ask them: "Did you lure these creatures of Mine away, or did they themselves go astray?" 17 They shall say: Glory be to Thee; it was not beseeming for us that we should take any guardians besides Thee, but Thou didst make them and their fathers to enjoy until they forsook the reminder, and they were a people in perdition, 18 So they belie what you say, and you can neither turn it aside, nor find any help. Those of you who have done evil, We let them taste a great punishment. 19 And We did not send before you, [O Muhammad], any of the messengers except that they ate food and walked in the markets. And We have made some of you [people] as trial for others - will you have patience? And ever is your Lord, Seeing. 20
