Kingship (Al-Mulk)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Blessed is He in Whose hand is the kingdom, and He has power over all things, 1 He Who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed: and He is the Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving;- 2 It is He who has created seven heavens, one above the other. You can see no flaw in the creation of the Beneficent God. Look again. Can you see faults? 3 Again turn thy vision a second time: (thy) vision will come back to thee dull and discomfited, in a state worn out. 4 And certainly We have adorned this lower heaven with lamps and We have made these missiles for the Shaitans, and We have prepared for them the chastisement of burning. 5 And for those who disbelieve in their Lord is the punishment of hell, and evil is the resort. 6 When they are thrown into hell, they will hear its roaring while it boils. 7 as though it will burst with rage. Every time a multitude is cast into it, its keepers will ask them: “Did no warner come to you?” 8 They will say: "Yes indeed; a Warner did come to us, but we rejected him and said, 'Allah never sent down any (Message): ye are nothing but an egregious delusion!'" 9 And they will say, "If only we had been listening or reasoning, we would not be among the companions of the Blaze." 10 They will then confess their sins: but far will be (Forgiveness) from the Companions of the Blazing Fire! 11 As for those who fear their Lord in the unseen will have forgiveness and a rich reward. 12 And whather ye keep your discourse secret or publish it, verily He is the Knower of that which is in the breasts. 13 Does He not know, Who created? And He is the Knower of the subtleties, the Aware. 14
