Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains: 45 (Their greeting will be): "Enter ye here in peace and security." 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ [O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful. 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 And declare thou unto them of Ibrahim's guests. 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 He said, 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, excepting those that are astray?' 56 He said, 'And what is your business, envoys?' 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
