The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those who range themselves in rows; 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 and those who recite the Remembrance 3 Indeed your God is surely only One. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 And to protect it from every rebellious devil. 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 and driven away to suffer the necessary torment. 9 but if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge,] he is [henceforth] pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay. 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 And when they behold a sign, they turn to scoffing. 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 16 And our forefathers [as well]?" 17 Say, "Yes indeed, and you will be brought low." 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21
