And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
