Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 noble scribes, 11 They know all that you do. 12 Behold, [in the life to come] the truly virtuous: will indeed be in bliss, 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 What do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
