The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And whosoever does evil equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
