The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The Striking Calamity - 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 What shall Make thee know that which the Striking is? 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
