Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Greed for more and more distracted you [from God] 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 You shall cetainly know (about the consequences of your deeds). 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 you would indeed, most surely, behold the blazing fire [of hell]! 6 Again, you shall surely see it with the eye of certainty 7 Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure. 8
