There is no state you are in, whether reading from the Qur'an, or doing something else, but We are watching you as you are engaged in it. There is not the weight of an atom on the earth and in the heavens that is hidden from your Lord, nor is there anything smaller or greater than this but is recorded in the perspicuous Book. 61 Lo! verily the friends of Allah are (those) on whom fear (cometh) not, nor do they grieve? 62 They who believed and have been fearing God; 63 for them is good tidings in the present life and in the world to come. There is no changing the words of God; that is the mighty triumph. 64 (Muhammad), let not their words disappoint you; all dignity belongs to God. He is All-hearing and All-knowing. 65 Behold! verily to Allah belong all creatures, in the heavens and on earth. What do they follow who worship as His "partners" other than Allah? They follow nothing but fancy, and they do nothing but lie. 66 He it is Who has appointed for you the night that you may rest therein, and the day to make things visible (to you). Verily, in this are Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) for a people who listen (i.e. those who think deeply). 67 They say: Allah has taken a son (to Himself)! Glory be to Him: He is the Self-sufficient: His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth; you have no authority for this; do you say against Allah what you do not know? 68 Say: "Those who fabricate lies about God will never succeed." 69 They may consider it a means of enjoyment in this life but (on the Day of Judgment) they will all return to Us. Then they will suffer for their disbelief the most severe punishment. 70
