We also bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron: 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
