And verily Yunus was of the sent ones. 139 [Mention] when he ran away to the laden ship. 140 and cast lots, and he was among the losers (of the lots that were cast). 141 The fish then swallowed him and he blamed himself. (For not waiting for Allah’s command.) 142 Had he not been of them who glorify Allah, 143 He would have stayed in its belly till the day the dead are raised. 144 ۞ So We cast him, sick, on a barren shore, 145 And We made a gourd tree grow over him. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (people) or even more. 147 They believed in him so We granted them enjoyment for an appointed time. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Or that have We created the angels as females, while they were present? 150 Oh, verily, it is out of their own [inclination to] falsehood that some people assert, 151 "God has begotten (children)?" They are liars indeed! 152 Has He chosen daughters above sons? 153 What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement? 154 Will you then not take heed? 155 Or, is there for you a clear warranty 156 Then bring your book, if ye say sooth. 157 And they have invented a kinship between Him and the jinns, but the jinns know well that they have indeed to appear (before Him) (i.e. they will be brought for accounts). 158 Glory be to Allah (for freedom) from what they describe; 159 except for the sincere worshipers of Allah. 160 For, verily, neither ye nor those ye worship- 161 Can tempt anyone to rebel against Him. 162 except him who shall roast in Hell. 163 [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position. 164 "And we are truly those who stand in rows, 165 Verily, we (angels), we are they who glorify (Allah's Praises i.e. perform prayers). 166 AND, INDEED, they [who deny the truth] have always been wont to say, 167 "If we had a reminder as had the men of old (before the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a Messenger of Allah). 168 We would certainly have been the servants of Allah-- the purified ones. 169 They have rejected the Quran. They will soon know the consequences (of their disbelief). 170 Already has Our Word been passed before (this) to our Servants sent (by Us), 171 that it is certainly they who will be helped; 172 and that it is Our host that would certainly triumph. 173 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) awhile, 174 And watch them, for they will soon see. 175 What! would they then hasten on Our chastisement? 176 Then when it descendeth unto them face to face, a hapless morn that shall be for those who were warned. 177 Withdraw from them awhile 178 and see; and they too shall soon see. 179 Glory be to your Lord: the Lord of Glory is far above what they attribute to Him. 180 And peace be on the Messengers! 181 And Praise to Allah, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds. 182
Almighty God's Truth.
End of Surah: The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat). Sent down in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
