The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 However, (the disbelievers) prefer the worldly life 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
