The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 It may be thou frettest thy soul with grief, that they do not become Believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 A fresh remembrance has never come to them from the Merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
