The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
