3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders. 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great distress, 76 And We made his offspring the survivors. 77 And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 78 "Peace upon Noah among the worlds." 79 Thus do We reward all those who do good. 80 he was truly one of Our faithful servants. 81 Then We drowned the others. 82 ۞ And verily of his sect was Ibrahim. 83 He turned to his Lord with a sound heart 84 and asked his father and his people, "What is that you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 "Then what do you think about the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)?" 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 And he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)!" 89 So they went away from him, turning back. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said: 'What do you eat? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak? 92 Then he turned upon them, striking them with his right hand, 93 Thereafter they (the people) came to him in haste. 94 He said: "Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve? 95 And Allah has created you and what you make. 96 They said, “Construct a building (furnace) for him, and then cast him in the blazing fire!” 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 (Abraham) said, "I will go to my Lord who will guide me". 99 (And he prayed:) "O Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear. 101 And [one day,] when [the child] had become old enough to share in his [father's] endeavours, the latter said: "O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice thee: consider, then, what would be thy view!" [Ishmael] answered: "O my father! Do as thou art bidden: thou wilt find me, if God so wills, among those who are patient in adversity!" 102 When they both agreed and Abraham had lain down his son on the side of his face (for slaughtering), 103 We called unto him: O Abraham! 104 thou hast already fulfilled [the purpose of] that dream-vision!" Thus, verily, do We reward the doers of good: 105 For this was obviously a trial- 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty victim. 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 'Peace be upon Abraham' 109 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Is-haq, a prophet, and of the righteous. 112 and blessed him and Isaac too: some of their offspring were good, but some clearly sinned against their souls. 113
