Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 I had no knowledge of the Highest Chiefs when they disputed; 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 And verily My curse shall be on thee till the Day of Requital, 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 Till the appointed day." 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 you shall before long know its truth." 88
