ART THOU NOT aware that We have let loose all [manner of] satanic forces upon those who deny the truth - [forces] that impel them [towards sin] with strong impulsion? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 The Day shall soon come when We shall bring together the God-fearing to the Most Compassionate Lord, as honoured guests; 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Assuredly ye have brought a thing monstrous. 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 And it is not worthy of the Beneficent Allah that He should take (to Himself) a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 On the Day of Resurrection each one of these will come to Him singly. 95 Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Merciful will assign for them love. 96 We have therefore made this Qur’an easy upon your tongue, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) for you to announce glad tidings with it to those who fear, and warn those who are quarrelsome. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
