The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 So open between me and them an opening, and save me and the believers who are with me' 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
