The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 And those who drive [the clouds] 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 your God is One, 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 and have made them secure against every rebellious, satanic force, 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealing and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness. 10 Ask them thou: are they stronger in structure or those others whom We have created? Verily We! We have created them of a sticky clay. 11 Aye! thou marvellest, and they scoff. 12 And when they are warned they pay no heed. 13 And seek to scoff when they behold a portent. 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected. 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.” 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
