I swear by all that you can see, 38 and by that you do not see, 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 It is not poet's speech - little is it that ye believe! 41 nor the speech of a soothsayer (little do you remember). 42 It has been sent down by the Lord of all the worlds. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand; 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 And indeed We know that some among you are deniers. 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 And verily it is the truth of assured certainty. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
