No! By the moon 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 This is but one of the mighty (portents), 35 Warn the men. 36 to everyone of you, whether he chooses to come forward or to hang back! 37 Every soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 In Gardens they will question 40 of those who were lost in sin: 41 "What has brought you into hell-fire?" 42 They will say: "We were not of those who prayed; 43 and neither did we feed the needy; 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 like frightened donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, every man of them desires to be -- given -- scrolls unrolled. 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
