And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 and the two recording angels are recording, sitting on the right and the left: 17 not a word he utters, but by him is an observer ready. 18 Lo, the agony of death has indeed come with the Truth. That is what you had sought to avoid. 19 And the Trumpet will be blown, that will be the Day whereof warning (had been given) (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). 20 Each person will arrive attended by an [angel] to drive him on and another to bear witness. 21 (It will be said): 'Of this you have been heedless. Therefore, we have now removed your covering. Today your sight is sharp' 22 And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!" 23 "Cast each stubborn unbeliever into Hell," (they will be told), 24 "Every obstructor of good, transgressor, and the sceptic, 25 Who sets up another god with Allah, so do cast him into severe chastisement. 26 ۞ His companion said: “I did not incite him to rebel; he was far gone into error of his own accord.” 27 Allah will say: wrangle not in My presence, and I had already proferred unto you the threat. 28 The Word will not be changed in My presence, nor am I an oppressor at all unto My bondmen. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
