۞ It is He Who has created you from a single person (Adam), and (then) He has created from him his wife [Hawwa (Eve)], in order that he might enjoy the pleasure of living with her. When he had sexual relation with her, she became pregnant and she carried it about lightly. Then when it became heavy, they both invoked Allah, their Lord (saying): "If You give us a Salih (good in every aspect) child, we shall indeed be among the grateful." 189 Yet when He gave both of them (the parents) a goodly child, they set up associates with Him, in return for what He had given them. Exalted be Allah above that they associate with Him. 190 Do they indeed ascribe to Him as partners things that can create nothing, but are themselves created? 191 No help can they give them, nor can they help themselves. 192 If you call them to guidance, they will not follow you. It is the same whether you call them or you are silent. 193 Surely those whom you call on besides Allah are in a state of subjugation like yourselves; therefore call on them, then let them answer you if you are truthful. 194 Do they have feet to walk on, or hands to hold with, or eyes to see and ears to hear with? Say to them: "Call your compeers, and work out a plot against me, and do not give me time. 195 My guardian is Allah Who has revealed the Book, and it is He Who protects the righteous. 196 “And those whom you worship besides Him cannot help you nor do they help themselves.” 197 And if you invite them to guidance, they do not hear; and you see them looking at you while they do not see. 198 Cultivate tolerance, enjoin justice, and avoid the fools. 199 And if a slander from the devil wound thee, then seek refuge in Allah. Lo! He is Hearer, Knower. 200 When a satanic thought starts to bother the pious ones, they understand and see the light 201 while their brethren ceaselessly try to drag them into error. 202 When you do not bring them a verse, they say, 'Why have you not chosen one' Say: 'I follow only what is revealed to me from my Lord. This (Koran) is a veritable proof from your Lord, guidance and mercy for people who believe' 203 And when the Quran is recited, then listen to it and remain silent, that mercy may be shown to you. 204 And remember your Lord within yourself humbly and fearing and in a voice not loud in the morning and the evening and be not of the heedless ones. 205 [The angels] who are near to Your Lord, never turn away from His service out of arrogance; they rather glorify Him and prostrate themselves before Him. ۩ 206
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
