Moses said: "O my Lord, enlarge my breast, 25 Make my task easy 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 so that they might fully understand my speech, 28 “And appoint for me a viceroy from among my family.” 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 to support me. 31 and let him share my task, 32 so that [together] we might abundantly extol Thy limitless glory 33 And much remember Thee. 34 “Indeed You see us.” 35 He said: "Moses, your petition is granted. 36 “And indeed We had bestowed upon you a favour one more time.” 37 When We told your mother what We relate: 38 “That, ‘Put him into a chest and cast it into the river, so the river shall deposit it on to a shore – therefore one who is an enemy to Me and you, shall pick him up’; and I bestowed upon you love from Myself; and for you to be brought up in My sight.” 39 When thy sister went and said: Shall I show you one who will nurse him? and we restored thee to thy mother that her eyes might be refreshed and might not sorrow. And thou didst kill a man and We delivered thee from great distress, and tried thee with a heavy trial. And thou didst tarry years among the folk of Midian. Then camest thou (hither) by (My) providence, O Moses, 40 I chose you for Myself. 41 So go forth, both you and your brother, with My Signs, and do not slacken in remembering Me. 42 Go both to Firon, surely he has become inordinate; 43 Then speak to him a gentle word haply he may mind or fear. 44 The two said:" Lord! We fear he may commit excesses against us, or transgress all bounds." 45 God said, "Do not fear; I am with you both. I hear and I see. 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 Lo! it hath been revealed unto us that the doom will be for him who denieth and turneth away. 48 (Pharaoh) said: Who then is the Lord of you twain, O Moses? 49 He said, “Our Lord is One Who gave everything its proper shape, then showed the path.” 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 He said, “Their knowledge is with my Lord, (recorded) in a Book; my Lord neither strays nor forgets.” 52 [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. 53 You eat and let your cattle graze' Surely, in this there are signs for those of understanding. 54
