[Allah said], "O messengers, eat from the good foods and work righteousness. Indeed, I, of what you do, am Knowing. 51 Verily this your order is one order, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 But the people divided their religion among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing. 53 So leave thou them in their perplexity for a time. 54 Deem they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We enlarge them. 55 Are quickly giving them goodness? In fact, they do not know. 56 Indeed those who are overwhelmed due to the fear of their Lord – 57 Those who believe in the Signs of their Lord; 58 and who do not ascribe divinity to aught but their Sustainer, 59 And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord - 60 it is these who hasten to do good works and vie in so doing with one another. 61 And We do not lay on any soul a burden except to the extent of its ability, and with Us is a book which speaks the truth, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly. 62 But their hearts are heedless of this. Moreover, there are other deeds besides this which they do. 63 But when We seize with the punishment those of them that live in ease, they groan. 64 Do not cry out for help this day, for surely you shall not be helped by Us. 65 My Signs were rehearsed to you and you turned back on your heels and took to flight, 66 In arrogance; talking nonsense about the Quran, and left him like one telling fables by night. 67 Have they not pondered the matter, or did that come to them, which did not come to their forefathers? 68 Or is it that they were unaware of their Messenger and were therefore repelled by him for he was a stranger to them? 69 Or, say they: in him is madness? O Aye he brought them the truth, and most of them to the truth are averse. 70 If truth had followed their whims and desires, heavens and earth and all that lives in them would have been brought to ruin. Rather We have brought them their Reminder. Yet they keep avoiding their Reminder. 71 Or dost thou ask them for tribute? Yet the tribute of thy Lord is better, and He is the best of providers. 72 and, most surely, you are calling them to a straight path. 73 And most surely those who do not believe in the hereafter are deviating from the way. 74 ۞ And if We show mercy to them and remove the distress they have, they would persist in their inordinacy, blindly wandering on. 75 And assuredly We took hold of them with the torment, yet they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they entreat. 76 until We opened the gate of greater torment (death) and they suddenly found themselves in despair. 77
