Would that you could see (on the Day of Judgment) that criminals, with their heads hanging down before their Lord, saying, "Our Lord, we have seen and heard. Send us back to act righteously. Now we have strong faith". 12 If We had so willed, We could certainly have brought every soul its true guidance: but the Word from Me will come true, "I will fill Hell with Jinns and men all together." 13 So taste ye the sequel, for as much as ye forgat the meeting of this your day, verily We have forgotten you. Taste the torment abiding for that which ye have been working. 14 Only they believe in Our revelations who, when they are reminded, bow in adoration, and give praise to their Lord, and do not become arrogant. ۩ 15 Their sides give-up rest in beds in order to pray before their Lord in fear and hope. They spend for the cause of God out of what we have given them. 16 No soul knows what pleases the eye is in store for them as a recompense for what they used to do. 17 Is he then who is a believer like him who is a transgressor? They are not equal. 18 The righteously striving believers will have Paradise for their dwelling as the reward of their good deeds. 19 However, the dwelling of the sinful ones will be hell fire. Each time they try to come out, they will be turned back with this remark, "Suffer the torment of the fire which you had called a lie". 20 And most surely We will make them taste a lesser punishment before the greater punishment, so that perhaps they may return to Us in repentance. 21 And who is a greater wrong-doer than he who is reminded of His signs, then he turneth aside therefrom? Verily unto the culprits We are going to be Avenger. 22
