Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what he Will (Omnipotent). 42 Are your Unbelievers, (O Quraish), better than they? Or have ye an immunity in the Sacred Books? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 Most certainly their gatherings shall be routed, and they will turn their backs. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 Verily the culprits shall be in great error and madness. 47 On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell. 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And assuredly We have destroyed your likes; so is there any one who shall be admonished? 51 [They were truly guilty] because all [the evil] that they ever did had been [revealed to them as such] in the [ancient] books of [divine] wisdom; 52 every action, small or great, is noted down. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 where they will be honourably seated in the presence of a King, Mighty in Power. 55
