▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for such as fear the time when they will stand before (the Judgment Seat of) their Lord, there will be two Gardens- 46 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 47 (Gardens) with many branches. 48 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 49 With two springs of water flowing through them both. -- 50 Which of the favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 51 In both of them there will be every kind of fruits in pairs. -- 52 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 53 Reclining upon thrones that are lined with brocade, with the fruit of both Gardens close enough to be picked from under. 54 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 55 In these [gardens] will be mates of modest gaze, whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 56 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 57 Like unto Rubies and coral. 58 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 59 Is there any reward for good other than good? 60 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 61 And besides these two are two (other) gardens: 62 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 63 Both inclining to blackness. 64 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 65 Wherein are two abundant springs. 66 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 67 In both of them will be [all kinds of] fruit, and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 69 Therein will be maidens chaste and beautiful. 70 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? -- 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 73 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them - 74 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 75 They shall be reclining on green cushions and splendid carpets. 76 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of your Lord, Majestic, Splendid. 78
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
