Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! what has beguiled you from your Lord, the Gracious one, 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 Nay! But you deny the Recompense (reward for good deeds and punishment for evil deeds). 9 but you should know that there are angelic guards 10 Honourablel scribes. 11 who know what you do. 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And most surely the wicked are in burning fire, 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 And never therefrom will they be absent. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 On that day, no soul will be of any benefit to any other soul. On that day, all affairs will be in the hands of God. 19
