Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 who determined and guided, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 Who will burn in the terrible Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
