The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Calamity! 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Calamity is! 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains like tufts of carded wool. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 his shall be the deep pit for a dwelling. 9 What shall let you know what the Plunging is? 10 A burning fire. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
