We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 and left them thus to be remembered among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
