Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the Exalted Assembly when they argued [against the creation of man]: 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 Said He, 'Iblis, what prevented thee to bow thyself before that I created with My own hands? Hast thou waxed proud, or art thou of the lofty ones?' 75 He (satan) replied: 'I am better than he. You created me from fire, and You created him from clay' 76 Said He, 'Then go thou forth hence; thou art accursed. 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 "Till the Day of the time appointed." 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 The Lord said, "I swear by the Truth - and I speak the Truth - 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
