Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And certainly We have made strongholds in the heaven and We have made it fair seeming to the beholders. 16 And We have preserved it from every accursed devil, 17 so that anyone who seeks to learn [the unknowable] by stealth is pursued by a flame clear to see. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 We let loose fertilizing winds, and bring water from the sky for you to drink; and you could not have stored it up for yourselves. 22 And indeed, it is We who give life and cause death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
