It is He who produced for you hearing, and eyes, and hearts; little thanks you show. 78 And He it is Who spread you on the earth, and unto Him ye will be gathered. 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they say the like of what their predecessors of yore had said. 81 They say: "When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be raised to life again? 82 Indeed, this [very thing] we have been promised - we and our forefathers - long ago! This is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 83 Say, [O Muhammad], "To whom belongs the earth and whoever is in it, if you should know?" 84 They will say: Unto Allah. Say: Will ye not then remember? 85 Say, "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and of the Glorious Throne?" 86 They will say, "[They belong] to Allah." Say, "Then will you not fear Him?" 87 Say: "In whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things, and who is it that protects, the while there is no protection against Him? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 88 'Allah' they will reply. Say: 'How then can you be so bewitched' 89 We have revealed to them the truth. But they are certainly liars. 90 God has not taken to Himself any son, nor is there any god with Him; for then each god would have taken off that he created and some of them would have risen up over others; glory to be God, beyond that they describe, 91 He knows both what is visible and what is not visible. Exalted is Allah above all that they associate with Him. 92
