The men of the Thicket cried lies to the Envoys 176 When Shu'eyb said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 177 I am for you a faithful Messenger, so fear you God, and obey you me. 178 so fear God, and obey me. 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ Fill up the measure and do not diminish the goods of people, 181 "And weigh with scales true and upright. 182 "And withhold not things justly due to men, nor do evil in the land, working mischief. 183 Fear Him who created you and those who have gone before you." 184 Said they: "Thou art but one of the bewitched, 185 "Thou art no more than a mortal like us, and indeed we think thou art a liar! 186 So cause a fragment of the sky to fall on us, if you are truthful." 187 He said: "My Lord knows best what ye do." 188 But they belied him, then the punishment of the Day of Shadow (raining fire) seized them. Truly, it was the punishment of a dreadful day. 189 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 190 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 191
