Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 relieved you of the burden 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 And raised high your fame? 4 For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 5 With difficulty is surely ease. 6 So when thou art empty, labour, 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8
