The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 the human being will say (in horror), "What is happening to it?" 3 On that Day it shall proclaim its news, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
