Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Greed for more and more distracted you [from God] 1 until you come to the graves. 2 No! You are going to know. 3 Nay, but ye will come to know! 4 And yet if you knew with positive knowledge 5 that you shall surely see Hell? 6 Again, indeed you will see it with certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8
True are the words of God the Almighty.
