We have brought you the glad news of (the birth) of a learned son". 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 give me good tidings?' They said, 'We give thee good tidings of truth. Be not of those that despair.' 55 He said, "No one despairs of the mercy of his Lord except those who are in error. 56 He said, “And what is your next task, O the sent angels?” 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 Only the family of Lot will all be saved, 59 “Except his wife – we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60
