The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of a Book luminous. 2 Perchance thou consumest thyself that they are not believers. 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from the sky so that their leaders would remain bowed before it. 4 And there cometh not unto them any fresh admonition from the Compassionate but they are wont to be therefrom backsliders. 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them will not accept faith. 8 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 9
