Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is cleft asunder, 1 And when the stars become dispersed, 2 And when the seas are erupted 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 (Then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 Noble and recording; 11 and these honorable scribes know whatever you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 They shall enter it on the day of judgment. 15 And will not be absent thence. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 It is the Day when no soul can do a thing for another soul. That Day, the command belongs to Allah. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
